Steelseries Rival Gaming Mouse Review

Performance

The Steelseries rival lies really good in the hand, for me it is perfect size but I guess for people with small hands it will be a bit the big side. I like the mouse was really streamlined not edges or bumps just sleek. In terms of responsiveness I did not have any problems. I did have a really annoying issue, I was always using the Rival on my Steelseries QcK mousepad (amazing products as well, I love it) but the second my mouse was on my wooden desk I could not do anything or there was a lot of stuttering.

As much as I like using this mouse I do not find this a good thing and I hope steelseries will either patch this or keep this in mind for a possible V2 version of this. The clicking sound you have from the buttons are not extremely loud but they will give you an audible click sound what is nice so you are definitely sure you clicked. The customization of the CPI values difference from a CPI of  50 to 6500 so you have a lot of options to customize your mouse to your preferences.
