ASRock B365M Phantom Gaming 4 Motherboard Review

Performance Part 4

3D performance and games

As I already mentioned, in 3D tests we’ve used Radeon RX Vega 56 graphics card which after last price drops is a really interesting option for gamers. In stores, we can find ASRock RX Vega 56 graphics cards in probably the lowest price.

Our test results are showing that we can build not so expensive gaming PC which can handle games in 2560×1440 screen resolution or in VR.

The Superposition benchmark is showing that even in the 4K we should be able to play in some titles.

Of course, if we use stronger graphics card then the i7 or i9 series processor with ASRock B365M Phantom Gaming 4 will let us play at more demanding settings. Most new DX11/12 games use much more graphics card power than the CPU so even if we pick less expensive motherboard series then we won’t lose anything and we will enjoy our favorite titles.

Overclocking

Since the B365 chipset is not supporting overclocking then we can’t make much besides what you could already see. We are able to set memory speed up to DDR4-2666 and tighten the timings. We are also able to lower voltages to save some power and keep the PC cooler.

However, I don’t think that most users need overclocking as once we equip our PC with a higher series processor, then it can handle every task without issues.
