ASRock B550 PG Riptide Motherboard Review

Installation

During our installation, I thought it would be good if we tried something different. I decided to use the Noctua NH-U9S CPU Cooler instead of an AIO. We also used a 16GB of Adata XPG Spectrix D60G DDR4-3600, a Cooler Master tower chassis and a Zotac GeForce RTX 2080. All the components fitted nicely with no issues at all. Although air cooling is perfectly fine for your Ryzen processors, you could consider using an AIO cooling solution … if so, then check out the Lian-li Galahad 240 All-in-One RGB Liquid CPU Cooler. BIOS

The BIOS on the ASRock B550 Riptide was fairly straight forward. We didn’t do any overclocking during our tests. So I left everything on AUTO/Default but I did enable XMP profiles for the memory supporting DDR4-3600 ram.
