Performance – part 2
Storage performance
M.2 SSD performance has been tested using recently reviewed Silicon Power US70 1TB SSD. This is a PCIe 4.0 SSD, so we were expecting amazing results, and the PG Velocita delivered them. We were able to reach a much higher than specified bandwidth, which passed 5.6GB/s!
USB performance
USB 3.2 performance has been tested using Patriot PXD 1TB SSD. Using this SSD, we could achieve nearly the maximum bandwidth of the USB 3.2 Gen2 port.
Network performance
Since the PG Velocita doesn’t have a WiFi card and our local network still uses the 1Gbit connection, then we were limited LAN tests at mentioned 1Gbps.
Our results are good, considering it’s not the only device in the local network. Worth to mention is low latency what should help during online gaming.
