Inside the box, you’ll find the instruction manual, software setup guide, an ASRock postcard, drivers disc, 2 packs of SATA data cables, wifi antenna, 2 velcro cable straps and 1 x M.2 screw for your SSD.

 

The B550 Phantom Gaming-ITX/ax Motherboard

The motherboard is extremely compact and small, and unlike the X570 Phantom Gaming-ITX, the heatsink is on the B550 Phantom Gaming-ITX/ax is a lot smaller and less clunky. 

 

A Closer Look

The motherboard comes with a load of features including … 4 x SATA ports, 1 x PCIE 4.0 x16 steel slots,  1 x Ultra M.2 slot, two M.2 slots for SSDs. One Hyper M.2 (PCIE 4.0/Gen4) which is located underneath the heatsink, while the other M.2 slot is the Ultra M.2 (PCIE 3.0/Gen3) located on the rear of the motherboard.

For the rear I/O panel, there’s a DisplayPort, HDMI, 2 x USB 3.2 Gen2 (both Type-A and Type-C) and 4 x USB 3.0 ports. There’s also the Intel 2.5GB LAN port, antenna connectors for the Wifi 6, and the usual array of connectors for 7.1 HD audio.
