Conclusion and Verdict
ASRock X470 Gaming-ITX/ac is without any doubt one of the best options as a base for a small and powerful gaming PC. It’s a well designed and well-performing motherboard which offers a lot of additional features to all users who wish to use AMD Ryzen platform. During all the tests we had no problems with stability or compatibility with other devices. Everything works like it’s declared.
I was expecting a bigger difference between the X470 and B450 Gaming-ITX/ac motherboards. Both are offering about the same with a small exception in performance and a couple of details which are not affecting user’s experience. All new ASRock motherboards will also receive BIOS updates which should improve their performance. Even though we can’t complain about the performance, which is high, it will be great to see even better results.
In Europe, the X470 Gaming-ITX/ac costs about EUR 182,95 (inc. VAT). Of course, we can find some stores with lower prices. All depends on where do we live. It’s maybe not cheap but the price is quite reasonable if we count on a top motherboard in ITX format for our AMD Ryzen CPU.
ASRock offers three years of warranty and probably the best support available for motherboards.
