BIOSTAR Z690A Valkyrie Gaming Motherboard Review

Performance – Part 2

3D performance and games

3D tests were performed on the ASUS Strix RTX3070 graphics card, so one of the most popular new graphics cards. All results in 3D tests and games are exceptional and should satisfy even the most demanding gamers.

Above is a result of the Final Fantasy XV Benchmark, while below, you can look at our results in 3DMarks and VRMarks.

All UL benchmarks are showing some excellent scores for our setup. There are no problems with stability or performance.

The PCIe bandwidth test shows us about 25GB/s what is slightly less than that of the Z590I Valkyrie, but also a good result.

Below are some Superposition benchmark results at high display resolutions and the most popular 1080p at high details. It can’t be any different, so again, some exceptional results.

Modern games at the most popular display resolutions of 1080p and 1440p perform well. As long as the motherboard is well-built, FPS between various motherboard models is within’ an error margin on the same chipset. The Z690A Valkyrie, with an i9-12900K processor and RTX3070 graphics card, give us excellent results in games.

Above is a screenshot from the Shadow of the Tomb Raider, while below is Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Farcry 6.

The Biostar Z690A Valkyrie is a well-performing motherboard and will satisfy all gamers.
