Corsair RM650x Power Supply Review

Thanks to Corsair, today we’ll be taking a quick look at the Corsair RM650x Power Supply. The RMx Series of PSUs, are Corsair’s premium range of power supplies aimed at the high-end and enthusiast market. These power supplies are 80 Plus Gold certified, and features 100% Japanese capacitors, a fully modular cable management system, rifle bearing fan, zero RPM fan mode, and comes with a massive 7-10 year warranty.

As you know, each year we usually ask our vendors to sponsor one of our many modding projects. For this year’s PC build, we decided to use a micro ATX chassis (plus micro ATX motherboard). So when I asked Corsair what PSU they would recommend for our PC build, they suggested their RM650x power supply … and I agree with their recommendation. I didn’t need anything too big as it will only be used to power a micro ATX system with one GeForce GTX graphics card.

Based on the specifications and features of the Corsair RM650x PSU … I can see it has everything I need, plus more.
