AOC AGON GH300 Gaming Headset Review

Conclusion and Verdict

Now we meet at the conclusion of this review and as I stated in the review of the GH200, the sound is the biggest and best feature! The sound is powerful coming from the 50mm drivers, and the comfort is great. You really can’t ask for much more from a gaming headset. If you have to choose between the GH200 or the GH300 model, you are doing so based on the connection type. One offering 3.5mm and the GH300 being USB.

The sound is great on both in my opinion. You do get a nice splash of the red color and RGB with the GH300. Hence the extra cost and being considered and upgraded version. This is AOC’s first lineup offering for headsets and they are off to good start. Stay tuned because we have one more to show with the GH401. We started with the GH200(a wired connection), then moved on to the GH300 (a USB connection) and for the next we will cover the GH401(a wireless connection). A nice lineup of properly tiered headsets, each offering just a little more than the last.

The mic was decent as well. I never had a complaint for the other end. And if you compare the construction it seems to be identical to the GH200’s mic. Other than the red tip that is covered by the foam. The foam over the mic helps relieve some of the pop as it should. No complaints from the mics performance.

You can buy the AOC GH300 Gaming Headset for aorund USD $59.99 from Amazon – https://amzn.to/3HH9Pw2

Pros:

  • Price
  • 50mm Drivers
  • Detachable Mic
  • Decent Leather Material
  • Red Accents
  • RGB
  • USB Connection

Cons:

  • Limited availability in the US

Final thoughts:

With the next step up, the GH300 headset addition, offers a higher quality connection and RGB. Top that off with the RED accent and you have yourself a headset that will stand out against others.
