Philips Bass+ Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds Review

Conclusion and Verdict

First off, don’t let the size or design turn you away. I wasn’t thrilled with the giant fin but the more I used these I noticed my self using the fin to aide when I utilizing the button features. Some of the other earbuds I have used: when I pressed the button; I always found myself readjusting the earbud because I had pressed the earbud further in my ear making it uncomfortable. I found the fin eliminated this problem. Also the size is a little on the larger size but hey it probably because of the massive drivers they are using. This doesn’t bother me one bit. If it doesn’t effect the weight to where they fall out or uncomfortable then I wouldn’t care if it was the size of a tennis ball if the sound was amazing. And guess what the sound was amazing.

Philips Bass+ Wireless

No complaints from the sound produced by these. The bass is truly deeper than most and the connectivity was awesome. I hardly noticed any disconnects. I have had several in the past that if I held my hand over one ear I would lose Bluetooth connection. I did this test with these and they never lost connection. The battery lasted slightly longer than advertised not much a little over the 6 hour mark but anything over advertised is great for the consumer. They are as comfortable as any other earbud I have used in the past. To note I was worried of this because of the size but honestly they fit me well and never really moved around while I was wearing them.

Lastly, how was the headset during a call? Well this one started off with me on a riding lawn mower. My buddy called me and I answered while in the middle of mowing. I told him I was mowing and was impressed that he never really noticed that much going on the back ground. He stated he could tell I was outside but just thought it was a little wind. I also had no problem hearing him or listening to music while I was mowing. To sum it up, the noise cancellation works extremely well! Also I was confused when I received the call and was only getting sound out of one earbud. I checked all my settings on my phone and came up with nothing. So I did a little research and found out that this function was normal. Didn’t really like it but was relieved they weren’t malfunctioning.

The price is in line and cheaper than some with similar specs. I think these earbuds are priced fairly.
