Sennheiser G4ME ZERO Headset Review

Wrap Up

G4ME ZERO

By far the Sennheiser G4Me ZERO is the most comfortable gaming headset I’ve used, Sennheiser has taken the knowledge of designing comfortable headphones and applied it to their gaming range.

A step away from their normally reserved or classic look of their headphones, the G4Me ZERO’s look is more brash in its design, shape and colors to emphasize its gaming intentions.

The sound quality is excellent throughout; from the punchy deep bass, all the way up to a natural crisp treble, and coupled with surround sound, this gives the gamers a truly immersive experience.

Verdict & Conclusion

Currently retailing in Hong Kong from about HK$1700 to HK$2100, the Sennheiser G4ME ZERO is an expensive piece of gaming equipment, but you need to take into consideration of just how comfortable to wear the G4ME ZERO is for extended periods of gameplay, and just how good the sound you treat your ears to.

You can opt for gaming headsets for half the price of the G4ME ZERO which will normally have a more ‘gamers feel’ in their design, with probably LEDs built-in, but in terms of both build and sound quality the G4ME ZERO is in another league. The one disadvantage I can find with the G4ME ZERO is that it only has 2.1 sound channels, but with the current model approaching its 3rd birthday soon, maybe Sennheiser will updated it in the near future.
