Tribit XFree Move Bluetooth Headset Review

Main review

I don’t know how but Tribit managed to impress me again with how high quality of a product they can make for less than any other competition.

Comfort.

While these headphones are meant more for woman I (A male) never had any comfort issues while using these, They are on ear style headphones so the ear cups are meant to sit on your ears.

The ear cups are quite padded and I could hardly feel them on my ears while using them, The headband doesn’t have much added padding leading to some slight pressure on the top of my head but these headphones are light enough that they never became uncomfortable during prolonged use. The ear cups can also extend quite far so you should be able to find a comfortable fit no mater how large your head is.

Overall these are really comfortable to wear even with a larger head than Tribit was thinking of when designing these headphones so I rate the comfort portion 4.5/5.

Battery life.

Battery life is great! They made it a little past the advertised 14hr battery life mark during my battery testing when I had the headphones set to medium volume so you should never need to worry about running out of battery when out and about.

They also charged quite quickly going from dead to full within the 2hr mark using the included cable.

Overall I have no complaints considering how long these headphones last and how light they are, battery life gets a 5/5.

Build quality.

Build quality is also impressive I managed to flex the headphones almost completely flat and bend them around quite substantially without any creaking or breaking so you shouldn’t have to worry about these breaking any time soon from normal use and you could even give them to your child without much worry of breaking. The on board buttons also feel really good, they have a solid click when pressed and spring back in place almost instantly.

The only things I have a concern with on build quality is the fact that there is no advertised water resistance so you’ll need to be extra careful if you want to take these outside on a rainy day. I also feel like the exposed wire could running from the ear cup to the headband could be a point of failure, I didn’t have any issues with it while testing even when I pulled on it but if something sharp gets caught on the wire it could potentially cut the wire rendering the headphones broken.

Outside of the 2 listed concerns that are fairly minor I like the build quality of these headphones, I do hope Tribit will add some sort of cover for that wire and some sort of water resistance in the future though. I rate the build quality 4/5.

Sound quality for music.

I was extremely impressed with how these sound the first time I listened to them. They put out way more bass than I was expecting and I’ll admit I’m a sucker for bass, I usually listen to the same selection of songs when reviewing headphones and I was hearing bass lines in songs that I never heard before which was impressive giving their small size and the fact that they only cost $30.

These headphones also provide a clean sound even with the powerful bass, mids and highs sounded clear and overpowered.

I don’t want the most important part of this review to seem short but there aren’t many different ways to say these sound great! No matter what type of music you listen to you’ll be happy with the way these sound and at the price point I don’t think they can be beat!

I rate the music sound performance a solid 5/5 I honestly haven’t heard $30 headphones that perform this well before.

Sound quality for gaming.

I’m a gamer at heart and these headphones have probably become by go to when I play my Nintendo Switch around the house,I played around 10hrs of The Legend of Zelda BOTW while using these and just like with the music performance they preformed extremely well. Sound effects were clear and sound separation was great to with sounds sounding like they were in the proper places when compared to action on-screen.

While these headphones arent advertised as gaming headphones they do extremely well when used as one and I have no complaints when gaming with them. I rate the gaming performance of these headphones 5/5.

Sound quality when used for phone calls.

These headphones also work great during phone calls, during my test phone call I sounded completely normal and was understood perfectly fine and voices coming through the headphones also sounded great and I could understand them perfectly.

I rate the phone call aspect of these headphones 5/5. Now for the final score and conclusion!
