The working temperature suggests that above 70°C is a throttling point. However, the SSD wasn’t throttling during tests, or it was so insignificant that test results were about the same. The SSD was tested twice, with its graphene pad, no additional airflow, and an additional fan blowing directly onto the SSD. The temperature with the additional fan was about 15°C lower, but as I mentioned, the results were about the same. The temperature without additional airflow was going up to 75°C during more demanding tests.

The SSD supports all the latest technologies to improve stability, data protection, and performance. Our results confirm that the SSD is well-designed, and there shouldn’t be any issues during longer work.

A 5-year warranty or 1.3PBW covers the 2TB version of the GM7000 SSD. In a typical home or office environment, it should work without issues for at least five years.

Below is a screenshot from the CrystalDiskInfo diagnostic software, which confirms that the SSD is in perfect condition and has 0GB written.
