The SSD arrived in perfect condition with 0 hours and 0 GB written on the counter.

During tests, the C910 SSD wasn’t throttling, and all tests passed without issues. AIDA64 reports temperature limits over 100°C. Most M.2 SSDs have it as high as 70-75°C. These limits were even higher for the recently reviewed CRAS C930 SSD.

The C910 SSD uses an InnoGrit IG5220 controller, and even though specifications don’t say anything about DRAM, then the product features suggest it’s a DRAM-less design, so it uses a PC’s RAM to perform these operations. Even though this idea gives a lower performance, then it’s not so visible during work, while SSD price is lower and it heats up less, so it is more laptop-friendly.

So far, so good. Now let’s take a look at the product itself.
