Lexar NM800PRO 2TB PCIe Gen4x4 M.2 SSD Review

Verdict and Conclusion

When you look at the overall performance of the Lexar NM800Pro, you can really see that the Innogrit (RainierPC IG5236) SSD controller is making its mark. It’s fast, reliable and performs beautifully. During our Crystalmark tests, it produced a Read speed of 7,155 MB/sec and Write speeds of 6,605 MB/sec. It’s slightly below the adverised speed of 7,500 Mb/sec, but still it’s more than enough most most users. For me, any speeds above 7,000 MB/sec is a good sign and gets my approval for sure.

The Lexar NM800Pro works on both Intel and AMD based PC systems, but more interestingly it’s also compatible with the Sony Playstation 5. It comes with capacities of 512GB,1TB and 2TB. It’s available now on Amazon for only $279.99 with a 5 year limited warranty!  There’s no RGB, but you get a large integrated heatsink that definitely helps to cool the SSD during operation to give you that optimum performance.

You can buy the Lexar NM800PRO 2TB PCIe Gen4x4 M.2 SSD for around USD $279.99 from Amazon – https://amzn.to/3BbWStE, at this price it’s definitely worth considering when you take in to account the 2TB size.
