ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 3070 Twin Edge Graphics Card Review

Conclusion and Verdict

Although it hasn’t been very long it has felt like an eternity waiting on one of these 3000 series cards to arrive. Zotac came through for us and provided the beauty before us today. The biggest complaint for these cards, or any 3000 series card, is the availability. The demand has far outreached supply. That’s a good thing, just not for us users. We just want one! I wouldn’t go paying double the MSRP for one though. The prices people are trying to resell these things for, are down right ridiculous. Before I keep traveling down that rabbit hole of frustration lets get back to the 3070 Twin Edge. The card isn’t going to blow you away with fancy features or bright lights, but the performance is all there. The card has a little style in design. The angle cut edges and different fan sizes kind of give this card some sense of a unique identity.

This card is the smallest 3070 at the time of this review. The card is a lot shorter than every other card on the market. The card does stick out about an inch from the I/O shield. But those dimensions have really never been an issue for a SFF case, especially if you are mounting vertically. You will have plenty of room as far as length goes.

The overclock was decent. Anytime I can achieve a 7% or greater overclock I consider that to be a strong chip and good cooling. I was able to achieve a 9.7% overclock over the stock 1815MHz clock speeds. And as far as what that did for performance was noticeable. The performance increase was 6.4%. That’s a decent amount of increase, especially if you are trying to lock in a framerate.

You can buy Zotac 3070 Twin Edge for around USD $549.99 from Zotac. The OC Edition is also available from Amazon – https://amzn.to/32d8738
