Cougar Forza 135 CPU Cooler Review

Today, we will be taking a look at the Cougar Forza 135 CPU Cooler. The Forza 135 is dual tower CPU air cooler that comes with 7 heat-pipes, a nickel clad copper base and weighs in at around 1kg. It features a vacuum tunnel design that provides efficient heat dissipation and increased air flow.

The cooler offers excellent compatibility and is designed for all Intel Socket LGA 115X / 1366 / 1200 / 1700 / 2011 / 2066 (Core i3 / i5 / i7 / i9 CPUs), and for AMD AM5 / AM4 / FM2 / FM1 / AM3+ / AM3 / AM2+ / AM2 CPUs.

It also comes with 2 cooling fans. A 120mm fan with a flow rate of 82.48 CFM and a nosie level of 31.68 dBA, while the other fan is a 140mm size with a flow rate of 72.93 CFM and a noise level of 38.5 dBA. Both fans have durable metallic-reinforced motor hub and metal bearing shell design, providing high airflow & high static pressure. You also get an additional set of fan clips so that you can add a third fan.

The Forza 135 CPU cooler has a height of 160mm, which although quite large, should fit in most mid-tower chassis. What I like about this cooler is that it has good clearance over the RAM/DIMM slots and I/O hood, which means it will fit on most motherboards out there.

I would like to thank COUGAR for providing this review sample! Let us see what they have to say about themselves on their website:

Our mice’s accurate tracking will make your reflexes count; our keyboards’ response will make sure hardware latency doesn’t prevent you from achieving a victory you deserve; our customization software will reward your planning and organizing mind, while our headsets will make sure your ears receive the right input and our power supply units will make sure your gaming rig gets all the fuel it needs. Everything has been designed to remove all limits to your skill: our creed is that in gaming the only restrictions should be those of your mind and body, not those of your gear.”

It will be interesting to see how this CPU air cooler will perform against all the AIO liquid coolers we’ve tested in the past. Could the Cougar Fora 135 dispel the myth that liquid coolers are better than air coolers?

We’ll be using an Intel Core i9-13900K processor, which are known to run hot (with a max TDP of 250-300 during Turbo Boost), along with an ASRock B760 motherboard. Let’s see what temperatures we will get at full load with default speeds.

OK,  now let’s take a look at the specifications on the next page. You can buy the  Cougar Forza 135 CPU cooler for around USD $89.99 from Amazon – https://amzn.to/40ofksX
