Weekly Rant
My rant of the week is about Google and its ever changing algorithms … In the past, we were able to post an article and within a day or so, it would be listed on the 1st page of Google if one of the keywords was searched. Of course we had to make sure the content of the article contained all the relevant keywords, in the title, the body, meta tags and description. NOT anymore. Since 18-24 months ago, Google changed their algorithms … our pages were not getting indexed properly and many of our pages were not even listed on Google search. We’re are NOT alone, many BIG sites suffered the same issue. With hundreds, if not thousands of site owners losing huge amnounts in Adsense revenue literally overnight.
So what’s the solution for this? … well, to this day we have not found a good or decent workaround for this issue. According to my sources, Google actually make upto 10 changes or more to their algorithms each day! Well, that’s what we have to live with for something that’s a free service, especially when you agree to Google’s T&Cs !
