Intel Developer Forum – Beijing IDF 2011

 Day 1: Keynote

The keynote was the usual blurb on how Intel have pushed the boundaries of innovation and technology for the past 10 years (and more). But more recently, Intel have been focusing on emerging markets such China. With over 300 million internet users and more than 500 billion mobile phone subscribers China, it’s no wonder Intel see this as a great opportunity to expand and develop mobile platforms that will meet the demands of the the users … in China.

The auditorium was packed with visitors, journalists, sponsors and numerous vendors. Although the keynotes were not as impressive as Apple’s … it was simple and easy to understand. It pointed out today’s key issues and problems that consumers would face in the future, and how Intel would provide affordable solutions to these problems.
