Performance:

Now let us look at the performance of this little device.

Pairing:

With the Bose Soundlink Mini you can either connect with the AUX port if you do not have Bluetooth.

If you have Bluetooth on your iPod, cellphone or I don’t know what else. It is pretty straightforward to pair the device with the Soundlink. Just make sure Bluetooth is enabled, press the Bluetooth button on the speakers and search for audio devices. When you find the Soundlink Mini click connect and you are done. All the times you connect after this just make sure Bluetooth is enabled what is obvious and power on the speaker. They will connect automatically and the only thing you have to do is press the play button or search for a song!

Range:

I was a bit surprised about the range of the Soundlink Mini, but in a good way. I had reception over 12 meters without any walls between and with walls between I guess around 8 meters plus/minus. So that is just great as well. I do like wireless devices with a good ranges as that just gives more freedom to move around.

Battery life:

I could not complain about the battery life either, with around 7 hours of playtime and recharge time of 3 hours for an empty battery is really not bad. The cool thing is if you charge the device in the docking station or just directly in the speaker, you can still listen to music. It will not charge so fast then I think but you will have music.

Then onto the actual sound experience…

Do net let its size fool you, the Soundlink Mini may be small but it is quiet heavy, which in my eyes means there are some actual speakers and subwoofers inside. I must admit I was really impressed the first time I heard it play, how could such a small speaker go so loud and with so much bass? So believe me when I say drum and bass or dubstep songs with a lot of bass are really nice to listen to with this product. The sound was really clear and I did not experience interference or noise. The funny thing is a lot of my friends bought this speaker and each time it impressed my. So I was really happy I could play around with this, a big thanks to Bose for that!

And there we have it readers, that was the Soundlink Mini from BOSE! Let us go over some points and final thoughts in the verdict of our review.
