The exclusive lifestyle brand Porsche Design and the leading supplier on the market for gaming monitors AOC present their first jointly developed gaming monitor Porsche Design AOC AGON PD27. The 27 “model (68.58 cm) PD27, which was awarded the Red Dot Award 2020 even before the official market launch, has the power and aesthetics of a sports car. It is characterized by high-performance specifications (27 “QHD panel, 240 Hz refresh rate, 0.5 ms MPRT), an elegant, eye-catching, motorsport-inspired design and a wealth of features.

The design of the monitor is accentuated by the silver-colored stand, which is shaped like the roll cage of a racing car. As in a real sports car, it provides the necessary stability, robustness and resilience when the gamer’s adrenaline rushes in. In keeping with Porsche Design’s design philosophy of elegantly combining functional design and performance, the PD27 can project its logos in different colors onto the table and illuminate the back of the display to highlight the gaming environment.
Vivid images for a perfect gaming experience
The PD27 is designed for serious competitive gamers and professional esports enthusiasts around the world. With its displays in QHD resolution (2560 x 1440) and the refresh rate of 240 Hz to reduce perceptible motion blurring, it meets the highest demands. The PD27 is also VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified and impresses with lively, true-to-life colors and a large dynamic range that allows the gamer to immerse himself completely in another world. This is supported by the engaging, very tight 1000R curvature (1m radius), which the sim racing community in particular will be enthusiastic about.
The response times of 1ms GtG and 0.5ms MPRT guarantee a gaming experience with clear images without ghosting. FreeSync Premium Pro from AMD ensures seamless, flowing displays without tearing. Last but not least, the VA panel convinces with a high brightness of 550 nits. No matter what the lighting conditions are: With the PD27, nothing stands in the way of an excellent gaming experience.
Rich sound
The PD27 comes with a wireless (IR) keyboard in the form of a center console, via which monitor settings or game presets can be quickly accessed. And anyone who longs for the roaring roar of sports cars in racing games will be delighted by the 5 W stereo speakers with DTS sound. For optimum flexibility in everyday life, the monitor is also equipped with a 4-port USB 3.2 hub, two HDMI 2.0 and two DisplayPort 1.4 inputs.
