Corsair Launches New VANGUARD Pro 96 and Vanguard 96 Gaming Keyboards

Corsair, a leading global developer and manufacturer of high-performance gear and technology for gamers, content creators, and PC enthusiasts, is proud to launch the innovative new VANGUARD PRO 96 Hall Effect Gaming Keyboard and VANGUARD 96 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard. These two keyboards carry on the legacy of innovation started by Corsair’s trailblazing K70 keyboard series.

VANGUARD PRO 96 and VANGUARD 96 both feature Elgato Virtual Stream Deck, a vibrant LCD screen, four layers of sound dampening, FlashTap SOCD technology, 8,000 Hz hyper-polling, six programmable, Stream Deck-enabled G-keys, a rotary dial, hot swap compatibility and are customizable via Corsair Web Hub. VANGUARD 96 gaming keyboards are 96% keyboards that optimize spacing to give users the functionality of a full-sized keyboard in a footprint that rivals a tenkeyless. Between both variants, this multirole keyboard is great for intense gaming and productivity featuring smooth-actuating, pre-lubed Corsair MLX or MGX switches. Both of these keyboards are also at the forefront of a brand-new naming scheme for Corsair products which will allow for better distinction between product lines.

Both VANGUARD variants come with native Elgato Stream Deck and Virtual Stream Deck integration. Users can directly map stream deck actions to the G-keys within the Stream Deck app (Ed.: Feature to ship in Q4 2025). They can also create Virtual Stream Decks profiles for every game in their rotation, enabling them to have quick hotkeys ready for whichever game they feel like dominating on a given day. Additionally, Virtual Stream Deck allows users to tap one button to open and close an on-screen Stream Deck overlay for greater efficiency whether you’re tirelessly farming in an MMORPG or editing your next hit video.

The VANGUARD PRO 96 is a high-performance keyboard designed by pros, and built to win. The core of the keyboard is Corsair’s MGX Hyperdrive Hall Effect Magnetic switches that deliver maximum responsiveness, reliability, and speed. VANGUARD PRO 96 also features lightning-fast 8,000 Hz hyper-polling, Corsair Rapid Trigger technology, adjustable actuation point switches, and dual actuation point capability.

What instantly puts the VANGUARD series of keyboards into a class of their own is the vibrant integrated 320 x 170 full color LCD screen, and the optimally-compact 96% layout. The stunning screen allows users to take their personalization or productivity to the next level by allowing them to display animations, images, or stats they can see at a glance. The 96% layout is nearly the same size as a standard tenkeyless keyboard, but retains the ten keypad, arrow keys, F-keys, and still has room for the LCD screen and rotary dial.

Corsair Web Hub compatibility means users can set RGB lighting effects, remap keys, record macros, and more, all via the internet for their VANGUARD 96 and other supported peripherals.
