ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) today launched the ROG Matrix GeForce RTX™ 4090 , redefining desktop graphics with premium performance. Powered by GeForce RTX 40 Series and DLSS 3, this limited-run model features a striking new design and a unique edge on thermal and acoustic performance.

Peak Performance: ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 4090
The ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 4090 is the first production GPU to feature liquid metal on the GPU die as the thermal interface to achieve breakthrough performance, with an OC boost clock of 2700 MHz. The ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 4090 features a metal frame design with a semi-hollow chamber where the main coldplate, PCB, and pump shroud are protected by a larger aluminum body.
The all-in-one cooling loop features a custom-engineered cold plate, and a powerful pump optimized for water flow. The loop feeds ample coolant through 700 mm of tubing to a 360 mm radiator, maximizing cooling on the die. Magnetic daisy-chainable fans minimize cable clutter for a clean, cable-free aesthetic. Digital power control, an array of high-current power stages, and a lineup of 15K caps ensure massive reserves to reliably push premium power delivery and performance boundaries.
GPU Tweak III
The ROG Matrix RTX 4090 supports custom-built software features through the ASUS GPU Tweak III app including real-time monitoring of the GPU die, memory, VRM, chokes, and power input circuitry. The data feeds into the new Thermal Map feature, providing a detailed breakdown of the card’s overall thermal performance.
Additionally, GPU Tweak III supports Power Detector+, allowing the card to detect anomalies across the six individual pins in the 12VHPWR cable and immediately warn the user if the cable needs to be reseated. Hardware monitoring continues with the new Mileage feature, which tracks graphics card use at different power levels, allowing users to keep an eye on what kind of load their card is experiencing.
