In this iteration of the EK-Pro WB RTX 6000 Ada GPU water block, you’ll discover a POM-crafted terminal block at the rear, equipped with two G1/4″ ports. This configuration allows for an effortless integration with EK-Pro QDC kits and manifolds, catering to high-density computing applications. Additionally, the water block incorporates a side-mounted standoff specifically designed for GPU brace application, ensuring a secure GPU mounting experience during chassis transportation and movement.

Machining Composition of EK Pro Water Blocks
The water block’s base is CNC-machined out of nickel-plated electrolytic copper, while its top is laser-cut from industry-grade stainless steel. The top plate also features a convenient screw-in PCIe power connector bracket, effectively securing the power connector once the assembly is complete. High-quality EPDM O-Rings guarantee reliable sealing, while the pre-installed brass standoffs ensure the installation process is safe and straightforward.

Special PCIe Expansion Bracket
To enhance the stability and protection of the graphics card, the top of the water block now incorporates the I/O plate, replacing the stock I/O shield. This modification significantly increases the overall rigidity of the assembly and ensures better stability. Moreover, the integrated single-slot I/O plate offers significant advantages in compact workstations and server environments where space and PCIe slot spacing are limited. With this design, the graphics card occupies just a single PCIe x16 slot, freeing up the surrounding slots for additional add-in cards.

Retention Backplate and NVLink Compatibility
The new water block has an included aesthetic retention backplate that improves your graphics card’s visual appeal and structural rigidity while providing passive cooling to the backside of the PCB VRM area. The cutouts in the water block top and backplate enable the entire water block and GPU assembly to be fully compatible with the Nvidia NVLink connector.
