NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 to Launch First in July

Followed by RTX 4080 and RTX 4070 in the fall.

You better start saving your pennies … cos it’s going to cost well over USD $1,500 (more like $2,000)

Taken from Videocardz … According to recent rumors, the RTX 40 series are set to debut in mid-July. This date likely refers to the announcement while each new SKU will get its own launch date sometime later. For new architectures NVIDIA usually announces its graphics cards two weeks in advance, which means that the actual launch may take place in August.

Kopite7kimi claims that the launch schedule for RTX 40 series is already confirmed, and it is not the same approach as RTX 30 “Ampere’s”. Rather than focus on the RTX 4080 series, NVIDIA would release its flagship RTX 4090 card first.

All rumored RTX 40 graphics cards based on Ada architecture use different GPUs. NVIDIA reportedly focused their efforts on AD102 GPU with AD104 entering the testing stage very soon. This GPU will be used by RTX 4070 GPU, according to the same leaker. However, we have not yet heard anything about AD103 entering the testing phase, in fact, Kopite has been very reluctant to confirm any new information to this GPU specifically. Therefore, one might assume that NVIDIA will choose AD102 GPU for this model instead.
