EVGA NU Audio Card Review

A Closer Look

The NU Audio card has a distinct aesthetic that sets it apart from other audio cards. This card looks and feels like a high-end card, as it should. The shielding is elegant, edgy and very modern with the stylings of today’s hardware as well.

The NU Audio card is equipped with a PCIe 1x Gen 2 connector and requires an additional power connection (SATA) as well.

The essential connectors and adapters are included, whether you are consuming or creating multimedia.

The back of the card is a stark contrast to the front. I will say that everything is arranged to keep things tidy, however the inclusion of a backplate would have helped to complete the look that EVGA created with the front side of the sound card.

Removing the audio card shroud cover reveals all of the wonderful components that make up this fantastic device. The audio card features from Panasonic, Audio Note, Nichicon and WIMA capacitors.

The NU Audio sound card is cooled with a passive heatsink surrounded by copper shielding.
