Deepcool Captain 240 EX AIO Water Cooler Review

Specifications and Features

Deepcool Captain EX 240 is quite small kit but specification looks solid. Aluminum radiator was painted white what looks great especially when we have any additional lighting inside the case. It’s also high performance radiator what is more important for most users than the looks.

Fans are specified to spin up to 1800 RPM but we haven’t seen so high speed during the tests and both fans were really quiet. They also have unique, double blade design which helps in performance.

Below you can check size of the radiator and the pump/block.

Did you use the included PWM splitter? I installed this kit but was weary off of using two fans off of one header over prolonged use, so i have the fans on two different PWM headers being controlled by a custom fan curve with Speedfan. Which header did you put the fans on and which header did you put the pump on?

I was using fan hub as I didn’t have enough fan headers on the motherboard. Everything was connected to the black headers but I don’t remember the order. Speed was the same on all of them.
