A Closer Look
The Phanteks PH-TC14S is dual tower design cooler. There are six nickel plated heat-pipes. The finish on the heat pipes and the heatsink are flawless. Having six heat pipes is why this cooler performs well. Materials and the coating used to black out the fins seem to be of high quality and I found no flaw while inspecting the PH-TC14S.
The fan comes premounted to the cooler itself. Two self retaining quick wire mounting adapters, that are becoming quite popular, comes securley mounted to the cooler during shipping. So if a person really wanted to swap the stock fan for an aftermarket fan, Phanteks has made that process easy.
