The Kingston Predator 4x4GB DDR4-3000 kit has programmed two separate XMP profiles. Below is the AIDA64 DRAM Timings window but we already see that this program has problems to read memory profiles on this kit.

I have also added screenshots from ASUS Mem TweakIt which is correctly reading both profiles. We can choose DDR4-3000 CL15-16-16-39 1.35V or the lower clocked (but at tighter timings) DDR4-2666 14-14-14-36 1.35V.

Closer Look

The HyperX Predator DDR4 memory arrived to us in a greyish box with most of the markings that we can find on the memory itself. What is most important is that we can see the product name and model number.

The box has been also protected with a “Factory Sealed” label which is telling us that no one has touched our memory kit since it left the factory.

Inside the box we can find four memory sticks packed by the pair in a blister package, a short users manual and the warranty information as well as a small HyperX logo sticker.

We have to agree that the HyperX Predator looks great in the gray/black color scheme. Also the PCB is now black instead of green like we could see in some DDR3 memory. Generally there have not been many changes but the effect is much better than we used to see in the HyperX Predator from the DDR3 series.

How the memory looks we can all see; and how the memory performs we will find out when we move to the next page of this review.

Below is one more photo of the HyperX Predator 16GB DDR4-3000 CL15 memory kit as there is never enough photos especially when the product looks this good or you are a computer memory enthusiast.
