Conclusion and Verdict
The Patriot Viper 3 Series 8GB DDR3-2400 CL10 memory kit is a great upgrade for those who are using a memory kit with lesser speeds. This memory kit surpassed my existing G. Skill Sniper in all benchmarks except for Cinebench, which is more dependent upon the CPU.
This memory looks great in the system and would look even better if the PCB were black. That said the performance is great and I have no doubt that the performance would be even better in a newer Intel system.
I have been using this memory for some time now running various applications, and some heavy gaming sessions. I am pleased to report that I encountered zero issues with stability. The quality assurance department at Patriot is doing their job well. If in the event there is ever an issue with this memory, there is a peace of mind to know that Patriot covers the kit with a lifetime warranty.
