In, conclusion the Cougar Vantar MX Mechanical Gaming Keyboard would be a great addition to any gaming setup. The price is point won’t break the bank and the keyboard feels quite heavy and durable. You have the option of four different switch types if the Red one’s aren’t you cup of tea. Throughout my time testing this keyboard I Never really noticed these weren’t Cherry switches. These are actually Cougars mechanical switch-M.
They behave very similar and you probably wouldn’t even notice if you were not told any different. The RGB lighting was very bright even in a bright room. When you pair this keyboard you can control the RGB and you have 14 preset light effects to choose from. You can further customize each key to a particular color using the FN key. If you aren’t in the mood for lights you do have the option of turning them off completely using the FN+Print screen key. There are several other functions you can control using the FN key. Refer to the manual if you need to find out more.
Every thing about this keyboard is made of great quality. Even down to the braided cable. This keyboard also comes in the awesome Pink, Cougar has been recently releasing.
