ASRock X570 Extreme4 Motherboard Review

Overclocking

The CPU overclocking tests were performed with the help of Silentium PC Navis EVO RGB 280 AIO which you will be able to see in a separate review in some days. This is a standard size AIO cooler which is using 280mm radiator. In the same time, it’s about minimum recommended for higher overclocking of the 3000 Ryzen processors.

We were able to set sufficiently stable 4.3GHz on all cores of our 3700X processor. The processor clearly couldn’t make more while the X570 Extreme4 motherboard was still running cool. Maximum VRM temperature was around 70°C what is not so much.

Ryzen 3000 overclocking is quite limited by the architecture, but we are still able to play the memory. The Extreme4 works great with every memory IC on the market. Regardless if it’s Samsung, Hynix or Micron, you can count on good results. On the screenshot, there is a Ballistix Elite DDR4-3600 overclocked to DDR4-4800 CL18. This is a stable overclock which passed multiple hours of various tests.

Results are amazing, and we can confirm that declared DDR4-4666+ is accurate and not only a number in the specification.
