SUPERO Core Gaming C9Z590-CGW Motherboard Review

Performance: Storage and Network

Let’s start with NVMe SSD in PCMark 10 Storage tests. The first result is showing the performance of the Crucial P5 500GB SSD which is using a PCIe 3.0 x4 bus, while the second one is Silicon Power US70 1TB SSD so a PCIe 4.0 x4 bus. Both drives are fast.

Below are some more storage tests but this time in CrystalDiskMark.

Above is Silicon Power US70 1TB and below is Crucial P5 500GB.

Here is also Patriot PXD 1TB USB 3.2 Gen2 SSD. USB results are about as high as they can be.

Now it’s time for a couple of network bandwidth results.

Above is WiFi 6 connection and bandwidth between two computers and a Netgear router. Walls are thick and we can still see up to 1.5Gb/s bandwidth.

Below is a wired connection which is using 10Gb/s Marvell LAN. The average bandwidth is around 5-6Gb/s while every now and then we can see up to about 9Gb/s. The connection is between two computers in a local network where background services and other devices may slightly lower the results. It’s still an exceptional result.

At the end, 1Gb/s Intel LAN so a standard connection with an average of around 750Mb/s.

The CZ590-CGW provides multiple fast connections and it’s one of its strongest sides. If you are searching for an affordable motherboard that you can use for gaming but also as a workstation then it’s the way to go. The SUPERO once again delivered a well-equipped and fully stable motherboard.
