Zotac Z77-ITX WiFi (Z77ITX-A-E) Motherboard Review

Photos Part One: The Box and Accessories

Even the box is awfully small, it’s amazing it’s a full fledged motherboard inside.

The box gives us our first look at the board, looks pretty busy!

The end reiterates the specs, we see a maximum processor rating of 95 W, this isn’t surprising as that is the maximum power Intel has ever used for this socket. The board will work happily with lower TDP processors as well of course. The box lists the mSATA as usable as well.

Inside the box we find…

Stuff! Starting with an upside down manual. Thankfully it can be rotated to be right side up.

Under the manual are accessories, under the accessories is cardboard and under that is the motherboard:

Due to how Zotac does review samples this board has already been around a bit, as you can see from the bag. I suspect this board was at Computex. Yours should arrive looking less like it hosted a hamster MMA tournament inside the bag. We’ll look at the board more closely on the next page.

Accessories wise we have a rear IO plate (some customization needed), a low profile and full height USB3 header, a mini-DP to DP adapter, two antennae, a CPU power extension and three SATA cables. Not a bad selection of stuff, really.
