DeepCool PX1300P 12VHPWR 80+ Platinum PSU Review

Deepcool is constantly refreshing its PSU line up and recently added their new PX and Platinum series PSUs, which are compatible with ATX 3.0/PCIe 5.0 standards, and have native 12VHPWR connectors. So far, the highest version is a unit rated at 1300W, which will be covered in this review.

As usual, we will start with specifications and features, and later, I tell you some more about my experience with the PX1300P PSU.

Let’s begin this review with the key features.

PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE
With the ability to provide three times the total GPU and twice the total system power for 0.1 ms, random power spikes will never be an issue. The PX1300P will provide stable and consistent power for legacy and next-generation PCs for the foreseeable future.

PRISTINE PLATINUM
80 Plus and Cybenetics Platinum certified to meet high power efficiency under typical loads.

PREMIUM QUALITY AT ITS FINEST
Solid and reliable power is provided through the use of all Japanese Electrolytic 105C capacitors and a dual main capacitor topology. Due to the high quality of the PSU build, the PX1300P will operate at altitudes up to 5000 meters above sea level.

RELIABLY STABLE
Through the use of a semi-digital, interleaved PFC, Full-Bridge & LLC, and a DC to DC dual main capacitor topology, the PX1300P can keep the hold-up time to ≥ 16 ms under full load.

PCI-E 5.0 POWER PERFECTED
Equipped with a high-grade 105C-resistant copper-core PCI-e Gen 5.0 12VHPWR cable, the PX-P provides up to 600W for power-hungry GPUs.

STATIC TO DYNAMIC
The PX1300P comes equipped with the option to switch into semi-fanless operation. In hybrid mode, the 120mm FDB fan will dynamically adjust out of its zero RPM state once the system load hits a certain threshold.

PEACE OF MIND
The PX1300P includes a slew of well-rounded safeguards, including OPP, OVP, SCP, OTP, OCP, UVP, NLO, and SIP.

MAXIMUM COVERAGE
The PX-P is engineered and manufactured at such a high level that DeepCool is offering a lengthy 12 years of trouble-free limited warranty coverage.

You can buy the DeepCool PX1300P 1300W 80+ Platinum PSU for around $299.99 in the Amazon store – https://amzn.to/3vpVbc7
