DeepCool PX1000G 1000W PCIe 5.0 PSU Review

Deepcool is one of the first brands which moved their entire PSU line to the new ATX 3.0/PCIe 5.0 standard. The new series are available since the beginning of this year, so it’s time to present to you the PX1000G PSU, the latest version of a 1000W, high-efficiency PSU.

As usual, we will start with specifications and features, and later, I tell you some more about my experience with the PX1000G PSU.

Let’s begin this review with the key features.

Past, Present, and Future

With the ability to provide three times the total GPU and twice the total system power for 0.1 ms, power spikes will never be an issue. The PX1000G will provide stable and consistent power for legacy and next-generation PCs for the foreseeable future.

Premium Quality

Solid and reliable power is provided through the use of full Japanese 105C capacitors. Due to the high quality of the PSU build, the PX1000G will operate at altitudes up to 5000 meters above sea level.

Reliable Stability

Through the use of a dual main capacitor topology, the PX1000G can keep the hold-up time to ≥ 16ms under full load.

PCI-e 5.0 Power Perfected

Equipped with the new PCI-e Gen 5.0 12VHPWR cable, the PX-G provides up to 600W for power hungry GPUS.

Static to Dynamic

The PX1000G comes equipped with the option to switch into semi-fanless operation. In hybrid mode, the 135mm FDB fan will dynamically adjust out of its zero RPM state once the system load hits a certain threshold.

Peace of Mind

The PX1000G includes a slew of well-rounded safeguards, including OPP, OVP, SCP, OTP, OCP, and UVP.
