Initial thoughts
If you read the Pyro review, I have to say my thoughts about the packaging are exactly the same. Except Patriot added an SE to the packaging. If you did not read the Pyro review, I must say I really like the packaging of the drive. Patriot uses bold colors to capture the attention of potential buyers instead of resorting to race cars and ninjas. Opening up the package you get a manual and the SSD itself. Not exactly a huge amount of things, but who needs those things anyway?

Closer Look
When looking at the drive itself I must say it looks nice. It is a nice aluminum case with the Patriot Pyro SE SSD labeling on the front. Compared to a 3.5″ hard drive it is downright tiny. I would really like it if Patriot chose to include a 2.5″ to 3.5″ adapter in the future for those of us who do not have an SSD bay in our cases.
