Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5060 Gaming OC 8G Graphics Card Review

Today we will be taking a look at the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5060 GAMING OC 8GB graphics card. This GPU is powered by Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 5060 GPU featuring Blackwell architecture withg 3840 CUDA cores and supports the latest DLSS 4.

It uses a slightly overclocked GPU running at 2595 MHz and comes with 8GB GDDR7 Vram on a 128bit memory bus running at 28 Gbps.

It comes in an all-black aesthetic with a little bit of RGB lighting on the top. The Dual BIOS switch allows users to select between Performance or Silent operation.

The card is cooled with Gigabyte’s WINDFORCE cooling system featuring triple Hawk fans, Server-grade Thermal conductive gel and a reinforced metal backplate.

It features 1 x 8-pin PCIE power connector so you can use your existing power supply and for video outputs, you get 3 x DisplayPort 2.1b and 1 x HDMI 2.1b, which is plenty for most users.

The graphics card uses up 2 PCIE slot space and measures L=281 W=119 H=40mm, so ir should fit in most cases. According to Nvidia, the GeForce RTX 5060 has a total graphics power (TGP) is around 145W with a  recommend a minimum power of 550W, but we recommend a 750W or higher.

The Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5060 Gaming OC actually uses a slightly overclocked GPU that operates on a Boost Clock speed of up to 2.595 GHz (the default is 2.50 GHz), and features 8GB of GDDR7 VRam on a 128-bit memory bus running at 28 Gbps.

To test the graphics card, we’ll be using our usual test rig which consists of Gigabyte B860 AORUS Elite WiFi7 ICE motherboard , along with an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor @ default clock speed, as well as 48GB of V-Color Manta XFinity RGB DDR5-8000 ram.
