ONEXPLAYER Mini launches with Core i7-1195G7 CPU

Sounds pretty decent … not sure about the built-in Iris XE graphics :'(

Taken from Videocardz … The Mini is not the smallest console, yet a lot smaller than its main competitors. The console measures only 26×10.6 cm which is just about 2cm bigger than Nintendo Switch OLED.

Just as the original ONEXPLAYER, the Mini features Intel CPU. The console is equipped with Intel 11th Gen Core Core i7-1195G7 processor, the flagship low-power Tiger Lake CPU. This is a 10nm quad-core CPU with a base clock of 2.9 GHz and boosts up to 5.0 GHz. CPU’s power can be adjusted from 12W to 28W. The company does not clarify which is the default setting.

The CPU has built-in Intel Iris Xe graphics, which is the updated Xe-LP architecture with 96 Execution Units enabled. This graphics subsystem will clock up to 1.4 GHz and it should be sufficient for low to medium settings at low resolution.

Now speaking of the resolution, OneXPlayer MIni comes with a 7-inch 1920×1080 screen, being the first major handheld console to feature this resolution. This is not the first high-resolution console from One Netbook (the company that made the console) though. The original ONEXPLAYER comes with an 8.4 screen and 2560×1600 resolution.

In terms of battery and charging capability, the OneXplayer Mini offers a 10455 mAh battery and comes with a 100W GaN charger. This means that the console can be charged to 50% in under 20 minutes and to full capacity in under an hour. It is worth noting that 100W GaN chargers are quite expensive.

The Mini relies on Windows 11 operating system bundled with Game Control Center.
