ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5080 DOOM Edition

During the press event at Asus headquarters, the ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5080 DOOM Edition was on display. It’s a limited-edition graphics card developed through a collaboration between ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG), Bethesda, and id Software. This exclusive GPU celebrates both the release of DOOM: The Dark Ages and the 30th anniversary of ASUS’s graphics card division.

The ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5080 DOOM Edition stands out as both a high-performance graphics card and a commemorative piece for fans of the DOOM franchise and PC gaming enthusiasts. Its unique design elements and bundled collectibles make it a noteworthy addition to any gaming setup or collection.

 

Noctua Collaboration, BTF Editions & ROG XG Station 3

Also on display were the GeForce RTX 5080 Noctua edition, as well as their BTF versions for BTF builds. The ROG XG Station 3 with Thunderbolt 5 was a real head turner, an semi-open external enclosure housing their GeForce RTX 50-series graphics card.

 

Motherboards

As ususal, Asus showcased their new line-up of refreshed motherboards. The top row included Intel  Z890 and B760 motherboards, while the bottom row shows AMD X870E and X870 motherboards.

 

ROG Strix ACE XG248SG Gaming Monitor

The ROG Strix ACE XG248QSG is a cutting-edge 24.1-inch Full HD (1920×1080) gaming monitor, unveiled by ASUS at Computex 2025. Engineered for professional esports players and competitive gamers, it boasts the world’s fastest refresh rate of 610Hz (overclocked) and a rapid 0.1ms response time, ensuring ultra-smooth and responsive gameplay.

  • Display: 24.1-inch Super TN panel with Full HD resolution.
  • Refresh Rate: Native 600Hz, overclockable to 610Hz.
  • Response Time: 0.7ms (GTG), with a minimum of 0.1ms.
  • Input Lag: Ultra-low 0.8ms, utilizing ASUS GameFast technology.
  • Motion Clarity: Features Extreme Low Motion Blur 2 (ELMB 2) technology, employing dual backlight zones to minimize motion blur and ghosting.
  • Color Accuracy: Covers 90% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and 125% of sRGB.
  • HDR Support: VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified.
  • Variable Refresh Rate (VRR): Compatible with both AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC.
  • Connectivity: Equipped with DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.1 ports.
  • Ergonomics: Offers 160mm height adjustment, ±45° swivel, and -5° to +35° tilt.
  • Design: Features a compact stand with a 30% smaller footprint, freeing up desk space.

Gaming Laptops

There were loads of gaming laptops on display, including their new TUF Gaming, STRIX and Zephyrus series,

 

ROG Rapture GT WiFi 7 router

On display was the ROG Rapture GT-BE19000 … ASUS’s flagship tri-band WiFi 7 gaming router, engineered to deliver exceptional performance for gamers, streamers, and power users. It integrates cutting-edge wireless technology with robust hardware to ensure ultra-fast, low-latency connectivity.

 

Asus PC Builds and AIO Coolers

The ASUS TUF Gaming T500 was showcased at the press event. It’s a compact yet powerful gaming desktop built for users who value performance, energy efficiency, and durability. It stands out with its innovative integration of laptop-grade processors and full-sized desktop GPUs, all housed in a space-saving chassis. It features a laptop processor at its heart and comes with heatpipe cooling for super silent operation.

They also has various PC builds on display, including a BTF build, and a gaming PC using STRIX motherboard. AIO coolers included the ROG RYUO IV 360 ARGB both in black and white versions.

 

ROG ALLY

We all know about the ROG ALLY – A Windows 11 gaming PC handheld. This year Asus demoed their new portable docking station/hub which adds a ton of connectivity.
