During the week, Funkykit went down to Scan Computers in Bolton to meet Thermaltake’s Adam and Mingkei. They are tech experts and have many years of experience working with computers. Visiting them was a great experiecne as they unveiled a lineup of new gear that was being showcased in Scan Computers. We brought our camera and gear to capture every detail from the unique looking TR100 Mint Strawberry Mini Tower Chassis to the vibrant RGB glow of the LA360-S and LA360 ARGB Sync AIO Liquid Coolers. Adam walked us through two of their new AIO coolers telling us about all the exciting features. Both AIO coolers come with pre-installed fans which means that users have dont need to install the fans themselves! You don’t get many companies that do that! In addition, the price of these coolers are out of this world with the LA360 (no LCD screen) costing only £75 and the LA360-S (with LCD screen) costing £85. The Thermaltake Toughpower TF3 1300W PSU was next, where adam explained how its ATX 3.1 and PCIe Gen 5.1 readiness makes it a powerhouse for next-gen builds. Next, Adam showcased the TOUGHFAN EX12 Pro showing us a unique featureby poppoing off the swappable blades mid-demo and showing off the MagForce 2.0 quick-connect design that makes cable clutter a thing of the past.
Then we shifted into the racing simulator setup which was a very exciting and memorable experience. Sitting in the GR500 Racing Simulator Cockpit with the G6 Direct Drive wheel and pedal bundle felt like being strapped into a real race car. Adam and Mingkei were incredibly generous with their time, and their passion showed a lot of passion towards giving us the best experience. It wasn’t just a product demo, it was a full-on tech experience that left us buzzing with ideas and footage to edit.
