ASUS Leaks PRIME Z490-P and Z490-A Motherboards Ahead of Launch

I bet Intel must be happy about that hahaha … Anyway, you can checkout the photos and spec on Asus’s website for more information.

Taken from Videocardz … ASUS already published pictures of its upcoming Z490 PRIME series. It appears to be accidental in nature since the product page is clearly for the current-gen Z390 PRIME motherboard series. The site also appears to show references to the H470 series, while the picture clearly show Z490 instead.

The ASUS PRIME Z490-P is a standard ATX form factor motherboard aimed at low-budget systems. These motherboards often lack oversized VRMs, RGB features or massive covers over the I/O brackets. This motherboard represents the most basic design from ASUS.\

The Prime Z490-A is a premium design with preinstalled I/O bracket, massive cover and shields for at least two M.2 drives. The Z490P has two PCIe x16 slots and four x16 slots, whereas the Z490A has three PCIe x16 slots and three PCIe x1.  Neither of the two h
