Now let us dive into the interior of this beast; here you can see the inside with the side panel fully open.

As you can see there is a big motherboard cut out; this is great for installing a new or upgrading an older cooler for your CPU. Another great thing is that all the motherboard stand offs are pre-installed already. All around the case there a holes with rubber grommets so you can easily route all your power and SATA cables behind the motherboard tray which results in better airflow and just a better general look of your system. On the right top you can see the 5.25″ bays and underneath the two drive cages next to each other; but if you wish you can set them on top of each other or remove them.

Then here we see the PSU mounting location; and as you can see there is a fan filter on the bottom. Next to the PSU there are two holes with rubber grommets which is amazing if you have a non modular PSU (also for modular ones if you need a lot of cables or not) you can re-route most of the cables behind the motherboard tray. So your system looks much better and you will have a better air flow.

Like almost all other Corsair cases, installing drives or 5.25″ accessories are tool-less; just slide in and lock the switch. This is a really easy to use system and it works great too. Like I already mentioned there are only three but most people only use one optical drive and nowadays a lot of people do not even use one.

Here we have the two hard drive bays which are, again like the 5.25″ bays the hard drive bays are tool-less. Just put in your drive and slide it into the cage. If you want to install a 2.5″ drive like an SSD you do need to secure them with screws, but Corsair has thought about everything. On the other side of the motherboard tray there are 4 2.5″ bays, where you just need to slide them in and they are secured. Gotta love tool-less installations!!

Then on the other side of the tray, you can see all of the cable management holes and the four 2.5″ drive slots. For cable management, Corsair also made sure there are tie-off locations for you to bind cables together to the motherboard tray. Between the motherboard tray and the side panel there is about two Cm space for your cables.

Here you can see the 2.5″ drive bay and in the picture below a 2.5″ hard drive installed.
