A Quick Build and More Thoughts
I put my work computer in the Seiran, in consists of the following:

Installed, it looks like this!
Cable management proved to be difficult, but doable by and large. The hardest part was getting the side of the case on over the wires! There isn’t a lot of room back there, especially with the ATX24P wires involved. One thing I noticed that I didn’t like is that the motherboard tray is fairly flexible, especially at the bottom. It doesn’t bend and stay bent, but it’s a good idea to support the motherboard and tray from the fan side while plugging the front USB/audio headers into the motherboard.
The fan in the side panel has some very dubious LED aiming, only one of the four LEDs is pointed inward at the blades!
The fan has some quality control issues, it works well enough though and is very quiet.
The rear fan has some clicking to it, I’m not very happy with the rear fan overall. I’ll be replacing it with a fan that can plug into the third fan controller output, clicking fans annoy me.
When I went to put the case side on I discovered that the side fan runs into my cooler unless it is oriented sideways and has the fan up top. This orientation flies in the face of common wisdom, but having given it further contemplation I actually like it. The hot air coming out of the CPU cooler (and the GPU, as it exhausts into the case) is aimed right at the side panel exhaust fan. The rear fan mops up the remainder and pulls new cool air in the front towards the CPU heatsink.
It’s a bit hard to see, but even mounted as it is the CPU heatsink barely clears the fan!
Down at the bottom the clearance between motherboard and PSU is tight as well, but large enough. Being a portable type case Raidmax made it as small as functionally possible.
The front fan is great. Quiet, nice LEDs, no issues.
The side fan is quiet nice as well, and the LEDs on it (and the front) can be dimmed independently of the fan speed control using the knobs on the front of the case.
I like it.
As always we get a sack of screws and such, including a small piezo speaker and some cable ties.
