Streacom BC1 V2 ATX Open Benchtable Review

Product Photos

We’ve received the retail version of the BC1, so it looks exactly like the one that can be purchased in popular stores. I assume that you won’t find it in every smaller store, so I recommend taking an online trip to some larger sites and stores focused on enthusiasts and overclocking gear.

The BC1 is a product that is designed for easy use and access to test rig components. Everything can be installed without tools, including legs, side holders used for radiators, or motherboard standoffs. The installation is very simple, and I highly doubt that anyone would need a manual.

The smart idea was to use legs to hold the PSU and 2.5″/3.5″ drives. Since we are not using SATA drives, then you can’t see that in the photos. There are holes that perfectly match any popular ATX or SFX PSU. In our tests is in use FSP SFX PSU to save space and reduce the weight of the rig. If you are thinking of using the BC1 vertically, you may think about the weight balance. Everything depends on the user’s idea but still has to be planned.

Every part fits perfectly, and this is one of the main features of this product – the top quality. The BC1 is designed for the most demanding users who are picky about everything, so it has to be perfect.

Even though I’m usually finding something to improve, then in the case of the BC1, it’s hard to complain about anything. Everything seems in the right place, and everything works as intended.

On the next page is an example build, but I won’t hide that the BC1 spent over two months in our redaction, so we had a chance to use it for many other test setups. Everything was perfect, easy, and fast to prepare the test rig. I especially like the fact it’s so small as it doesn’t take up unnecessary space on the desk. It’s important for overclockers who always have something lying around.

Let’s take a look at the example test builds on the next page.
