Thermaltake New Soprano Mid-Tower Chassis Review

Photos Part Two: The Case

As promised, the attention to detail given to the case exterior is very exquisite.  It doesn’t have any unnecessary flair, choosing instead to go for a cool, metallic look.  While I do enjoy looking in on the hardware as much as the next guy, you have to sometimes take a step back and give credit to simplicity.  Sometimes, less is more.

Now when it comes to overall space, there is plenty of it.  Like other reviewers have previously mentioned, this current generation of case makers really does understand the needs of not just overclockers, but really anyone who likes to avoid a cluttered mess of cables.  They’ve taken the liberty of providing you with various cut-outs to quickly and easily connect all the necessary cables to their components without getting in each other’s way.

Probably most importantly, the Soprano’s motto of “Just Mute it” really does ring true.  The sound-proofing is like night and day compared to cases I’ve previously owned.  This case drowns out most all of the ambient PC noises, and while it’s not completely silent, it definitely makes for a soothing, quiet experience.
