Case Interior and Hardware Installation

TtOverseer-interior-overview

Lots of cable management options, interesting looking tool-free 5.25″ bays and a rack of 3.5″ cartridges, along with a nice big motherboard cutout for installing heatsinks.

As you can see, the front panel is fully filtered.  I approve!

Here we find the external 3.5″ bay, it is non-removable and hence costs us a 5.25″ bay.

The HDD dock is extremely simple, no active electronics to be seen.

The HDD bays require tools to install the drive into the cartridge, but it’s tool-free after that.  The large head screws go through a rubber vibration isolation washer to attach the drive to the tray.  2.5″ drives can be attached to the tray via the holes in the bottom of the tray.

Once the drive is in the tray it simply slides into the case.  The power and SATA ports point away from the visible portion of the case to make things look neater.
