Antec Prizm 120 ARGB 5+C 120mm Case Fan w/Fan Controller Review

Antec Prizm 120 ARGB 5+C – Packaging and Contents

The packaging for the Antec Prizm 120 ARGB 5+C is covered in a mostly black and yellow theme. The images of the PRISM fans contrast nicely with the rest of the packaging by highlighting the RGB effects. Today we are taking a look at the 120mm kit.

The backside of the packaging displays the feature set as well as the specifications. Inside of the packaging, each fan is securely packaged within its own cardboard box inside of the package. You will receive five PRIZM fans, a fan controller as well as an installation and user guide.

Now let us take a closer look at the fan kit itself!

Antec Prizm 120 ARGB 5+C – A Closer Look

The PRIZM fans have an elegant design and the construction feels very sturdy and of high quality. We find a diffuser RGB ring on each side of the fans which provides for double the RGB illumination. Each mounting hole has a rubber vibration dampener to reduce annoying noises.

Each individual fan has a PWM power connector as well as an RGB connector which you can plug-in directly to your motherboard or the included fan controller. The fan controller has enough headers to support all of the fans in this kit and is powered by a single SATA connector. The fan controller has buttons that allow for changing of the LED color and RGB display mode. The fan controller can run independently or you may connect this device directly to your motherboard to control via the software.
