Package for G.Skill ARES memory remains without changes and also latest series came in blister-type box. As usual we can find all basic information on the box like product name and number, support contact and warranty length.
There is also large sticker saying us that new ARES series are compatible with latest Intel Z87 chipsets.
Inside besides two DDR3-2400 memory sticks we can also find G.Skill logo sticker. Being proud of our new memory we can put it on the PC case or any other place …
Closer Look
G.Skill ARES is protected by blue heatspreaders. What’s more important for many users is that they are low profiled. Sounds like nothing much but all who have large CPU air cooling solutions will for sure see it as a huge advantage.
As we see below our review samples were manufactured in July 2013 so they’re pretty fresh product. Because of that they’re built on new IC series which is working fine at higher clocks at the cost of more relaxed timings.
G.Skill has used black PCB for these memory modules. Not much but already looks like high end product and computer enthusiasts will for sure notice that.
For sure we can expect this memory to look good in our PC especially if it has blue theme.
