Test Setup

For our tests, we will be using a test rig which is comprised of the ASRock B650E Taichi Lite motherboard, along with an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D @ default clock speed of 4.2GHz (with Turbo Boost of up to 5 GHz), as well as 32GB of Patriot Viper Gaming Venom RGB DDR5-6200 in dual channel mode.

All tests were conducted at turbo clock speeds at a resolution of 1920×1080. High or Ultra settings enabled.

Load Temps

Using the the Cooler Master MasterLiquid PL240 Flux AIO, the processor produced a full load temperature of  73 degrees Celsius, which is what I was expected from a 240mm AIO cooler.

Since the Ryzen 7 7800X3D has a fairly high TDP of 120W, we do recommend a 240mm AIO cooler or better still, if budget allows, get yourself a 360mm AIO cooler.
